That would be a good idea, but only for on screen images. As for using the filter in a PhotoShop capacity, it wouldn't work. If you wanted to save the filtered image, you would have to reapply the filter to the ACTUAL image (probably not in a view). Another problem would be window depth. A filter applied to a 12 bit screen image would not look the same as the filter applied to a 24 bit image and then displayed in 12 bits. Also, filters many times need to be applied to CMYK images. Applying the filter to a CMYK image displayed in a view is definately NOT going to look right (NeXT's handling of CMYK->RGB conversion is not even close to accurate).
